Investigations Underway into Three Separate Domestic Violence Cases

Investigations are underway into three separate incidents of alleged domestic violence, with two incidents resulting in fatalities and one woman left seriously injured.
In the first case reported at the Raiwaqa Police Station, a couple was found dead in what is believed to be an alleged murder-suicide. Police officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance at the Lagilagi Housing complex, where the couple was heard arguing. Upon arrival, officers found both individuals motionless with visible wounds.
The area has been cordoned off as investigations continue.
In the second incident, a woman in her 20s was found dead with visible injuries inside her home along Kerebula Road, Nadi.
It is alleged that her partner, a man in his 40s, stabbed her, resulting in her death.
The suspect has been arrested and remains in police custody.
In the third case, police officers found a woman with visible injuries outside an apartment complex in Suva. She was rushed to the Colonial War Memorial Hospital, where she remains under medical care.
A search is underway for her partner, who is the alleged suspect.
The Fiji Police Force has confirmed that three lives have been lost across two separate incidents, while one woman is recovering from serious injuries following the third.
Investigations into all three cases remain ongoing.
