The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua is excited to announce that star flyhalf Isaiah Armstrong-Ravula has re-signed a new contract with the Club.
The re-signing of the leading points scorer is a huge boost for both the team and the fans, further cementing Armstrong-Ravula’s commitment to the Club and its future growth.
Already the Fijian Drua’s top points scorer, Armstrong-Ravula has been instrumental in several of the team’s key victories, including remarkable wins over Super Rugby Pacific giants such as the Chiefs and Crusaders.
In his most recent performance, against the Chiefs in Round 4 of 2025, the 21-year-old contributed 13 points through two converted tries and three successful penalties.
Since his debut in 2024, Armstrong-Ravula has made 18 appearances for the Fijian Drua, starting with a match against the Blues in Whangarei.
His impressive skills were first showcased at the World Rugby U20 Championship, where he earned a spot in the Dream Team. Armstrong-Ravula made his debut for the Flying Fijians in 2024 and already has 9 caps to his name.
Reflecting on his re-signing, Armstrong-Ravula shared, “I feel really blessed and grateful to the coaches for giving me this opportunity at such a special club like the Drua. I’m very excited for the future and what we can achieve together.”
Fijian Drua General Manager Rugby, Baden Stephenson, expressed his excitement over the re-signing, stating, “This is a significant moment for the Fijian Drua, as we believe Izzy has the potential to become a world-class player. His maturity for his age, coupled with his dedication to improving his game, sets him apart. Few players in Super Rugby’s history have had the same level of impact at his age. We are proud to have him as part of the Drua family, as he truly embodies the Club’s values and is committed to our collective success.”
