James Sowane Champions TEWAKA’s Electric Fleet Expansion

TEWAKA yesterday added four fully electric Maxus MIFA 9 Elite seven-seater vans to its fleet, reinforcing its drive toward sustainable travel in Fiji.

James Sowane, Director of TEWAKA, said: “There is a global trend favouring environmentally sustainable modes of travel, so our integration of EV’s into the TEWAKA fleet is aligned to our strategic commitment to reducing our carbon footprint.”

He also noted the company’s hospitality partnerships: “TEWAKA is the official transport provider for a number of large chain hotels and island resorts whose guests are more conscious of their environmental impact, so our investment in EV’s is also in alignment with our hotel and resort partners who are committed towards their specific sustainable and eco-friendly policies.
