Jay-Z Denounces "Extortionate" Lawsuit, Demands Accuser's Identity Be Revealed
WORLD

Jay-Z has responded to a lawsuit accusing him of assaulting a 13-year-old girl alongside Sean “Diddy” Combs in 2000, calling the claims “extortionate” and demanding the accuser reveal her identity.
His attorney, Alex Spiro, argued that litigating under a pseudonym is unfair, accusing the plaintiff’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, of using anonymity to smear Jay-Z’s reputation while pursuing financial settlements.
The lawsuit alleges Jay-Z and Diddy drugged and assaulted the accuser after the 2000 MTV VMAs.
Jay-Z’s legal team denies the allegations, labelling them a part of Buzbee’s alleged extortion scheme involving multiple lawsuits against Combs.
Jay-Z has also filed his own lawsuit against Buzbee, accusing him of making false demands to extract money.
