Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, SMEs, and Communications, Hon. Manoa Kamikamica, shared key priorities for Fiji’s economic future during his address at the Fiji Hotel and Tourism Association (FHTA) breakfast meeting.

Speaking as the guest of honour, Kamikamica highlighted tourism as a cornerstone of Fiji’s broader economic recovery and development strategy. He emphasized the government’s commitment to working closely with industry partners to drive sustainable growth, boost investor confidence, and support innovation across sectors.

The event brought together tourism operators and business leaders for a talanoa session focused on collaboration, resilience, and unlocking new opportunities in Fiji’s post-pandemic landscape.

The Deputy Prime Minister also reaffirmed the Coalition Government’s support for the tourism industry, recognising its vital role in job creation and foreign exchange earnings.
