Kava Bars Ordered to Close by 1am

Kava Bars across Fiji have been ordered to close by 1am, effective immediately, following a government directive aligning their trading hours with those of nightclubs.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communications, Manoa Kamikamica DPM has confirmed this new policy.

The government believes the new measure will help reduce disturbances and maintain order in public spaces during late-night hours.
