Ketan Lal is a Hypocrite Who Continues Receiving Full Pay (of $95,000) - Tuisawau

Minister for Infrastructure, Ro Filipe Tuisawau, has labeled opposition Member of Parliament Ketan Lal as a hypocrite.

This comes after he claimed that Ketan Lal continues to receive full pay while pretending to be against the pay rise.

Earlier, Lal joined three former FijiFirst MPs: Joseph Nand, Viam Pillay, and Rinesh Sharma, all of whom did not vote against nearly doubling their pay and instead abstained from voting.

They now receive a salary of $95,000, up from $50,000.

The Opposition MPs who opposed this increase included three FijiFirst MPs: Faiyaz Koya, Hem Chand, and Premila Kumar.

Four National Federation Party MPs, including their Leader Professor Biman Prasad, Lenora Qereqeretabua, Pio Tikoduadua, and Sashi Kiran, also opposed the increase.
