A mother in Lami, who was robbed for the fourth time in two months last week, is still waiting for police to get back to her.

The latest break-in occurred in the early hours of the morning, when thieves allegedly stole a television, jewellery, a mobile phone, and a purse from her home.

The mother, who lives alone while her children are studying overseas, has expressed growing frustration and fear, having experienced multiple break-ins within a short span of time.

She revealed that the robbers, armed with kitchen knives, have repeatedly broken into her home, with this latest incident marking the fourth such robbery since October.

"I’ve had four break-ins in just one month. The first time, they strangled me and tied me up. The police have DNA evidence and fingerprints from that first robbery, but nothing has been done," said the homeowner.

She also shared that police informed her they are tracking a stolen mobile phone from the first robbery, but she has yet to receive any significant updates or see any arrests made in connection with the crimes.

"I live in fear every day. The police have my information, including the IMEI numbers for the stolen phones, but no progress has been made. No arrests, no updates. I’m still waiting for them to get back to me," she said.

The repeated break-ins have left her feeling helpless, with no sense of security in her own home.
