All Blacks legend Ma’a Nonu has rejoined Toulon as a medical joker until the end of the season, marking his third stint with the French club.
The 42-year-old, who last played for San Diego Legion in Major League Rugby, could become the oldest player in Top 14 history if he takes the field.
Nonu, a two-time Rugby World Cup winner, was initially training with Toulon’s coaching staff but has now opted to play.
Toulon, currently second in the Top 14, faces Lyon this weekend, where Nonu could make his return.
