A man has been arrested after allegedly driving dangerously and almost bumping a police officer while attempting to beat early morning traffic and then allegedly trying to bribe the officer with $5 during a traffic stop.
According to Police, the incident occurred at the Matanikorovatu traffic lights where an officer was conducting point duty.
The driver allegedly failed to obey instructions to stop and nearly caused a serious accident, reportedly almost hitting the officer in the process.
