Man Charged with Murder Following Wife’s Death

A man in his 40s has been charged with murder following the death of his wife on Rabi Island last week.

Police allege the accused assaulted his wife after an argument, after which she was taken to the Rabi Health Centre, where she was pronounced dead by medical personnel.

The man has been charged with one count of murder and is expected to appear at the Labasa Magistrates Court today.
