A 25-year-old man has been charged with the murder of his 27-year-old uncle.

In another case, a 40-year-old man is accused of murdering his 70-year-old uncle.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) reported that 17 individuals faced charges for 16 counts of non-sexual violence in December.

Among the accused was a police officer.

Three incidents involved family members.

Additionally, a 31-year-old police officer was charged with careless driving, and a 49-year-old man faced charges for assaulting his 76-year-old mother, though this case was discontinued after the accused's death.

Other charges included assault and acts intended to cause grievous harm, with incidents involving theft during aggravated robbery and burglary.

Two cases were withdrawn due to insufficient evidence.
