Man to Front Court for Alleged Indecent Assault of 8-Year-Old

A 50-year-old man is expected to appear at the Nasinu Magistrates Court today, charged with allegedly indecently assaulting an 8-year-old child.

The accused, who is related to the victim, is alleged to have committed the offence inside the victim’s home on April 7th, 2025. He reportedly warned the child not to disclose the incident.

However, the victim later confided in a neighbour, who promptly reported the matter to Police.

The accused has been charged with one count of indecent assault and will appear in court as investigations continue.
