McDonald’s Fiji Announces Temporary Removal of Lettuce from Select Menu Items

McDonald's Fiji has announced that several of its popular menu items will be temporarily sold without lettuce due to biosecurity restrictions affecting lettuce imports.

In a notice issued to customers, the fast-food chain confirmed that the following items will be impacted:

  • Big Mac Burger

  • Double Big Mac Burger

  • McChicken Burger

  • Double McChicken Burger

  • Salad Burger

  • Chicken Wrap

  • Veggie Wrap

  • Fish Wrap

  • McFeast Burger

“We apologize for the inconvenience caused and appreciate the patience and continued support of our customers,” the management stated.

The company has not specified when lettuce will be available again but assured customers that it is closely monitoring the situation.

We are in the process of finding out exactly what restrictions have been placed.
