As the vibrant atmosphere of the 2025 Hope Carnival gathers momentum, one young voice is standing out with a message of purpose and empowerment.

Alysha Azariyah Ali, proudly sponsored by Duavata News, is using her platform to advocate for a healthier and more informed community under this year’s powerful theme: “Say No to Drugs and Yes to Life.”

Alysha, a student of Nadi Muslim College, is no stranger to community engagement. Her decision to participate in the Hope Carnival was driven by a deep passion for raising awareness and spreading positive messages, especially among youth.

“I was inspired by the opportunity to advocate for an important cause and bring attention to issues that matter,” she said.

“Drug abuse is a serious problem that affects our homes, schools, and public spaces. It’s important that we talk about it openly and support each other in making better choices.”

Aside from her advocacy, Alysha leads an active lifestyle and is part of her schools football team. She enjoys playing football and dreams of traveling the world to experience different cultures.

Her favorite television show is the classic comedy Mr. Bean, which she says reminds her to find joy in life’s simple moments.
