Lynda Tabuya, a member of The People’s Alliance Party, has reaffirmed her commitment to serving the people of Fiji despite recent challenges.

She welcomed the decision that confirmed her position in the party, stating that the issue should never have been raised in the first place.

Tabuya emphasized that her focus is on working hard to address issues that matter to Fijians. She remains determined to stay focused on her work, even as a backbencher.

She also announced that she has taken legal action against Ms. Alexander Forwood of Australia and Mr. Victor Lal of the UK, following online crimes.

Based on legal advice from her counsel in Fiji, Australia, and the UK, Tabuya stated that both Forwood and Lal, as Fiji citizens, will be held accountable, potentially facing extradition to Fiji.

Tabuya thanked the Cybercrime Unit of the Fiji Police Force and the Online Safety Commissions in Fiji, Australia, and the UK for their efforts in the case.

She expressed deep gratitude for the support she has received from the public, which has only strengthened her determination to continue advocating for Fijians and making progress on important issues.
