The Naitasiri Tertiary Students Association has teamed up with government representatives to roll out an awareness campaign for students at the Fiji National University’s Lautoka campus next month.

The Association met with Hon. Sashi Kiran, Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation, who invited Hon. Esrom Immanuel, Assistant Minister of Finance, to join the discussions.

During the meeting, alumni members Ratu Sailosi Sirisirivalu and Karalaini Rabebe presented a plan aimed at empowering tertiary students through education and support initiatives.

The program will cover key issues including reproductive health, gender-based violence, online safety, and mental well-being.

Minister Kiran said her ministry has committed to working closely with the Association and its partners to ensure the campaign reaches as many students as possible.

The initiative is expected to be launched in Lautoka next month with the support of community and government partners.
