Narube Is the Chosen One, Says Feroz Gulam Mohammed

Former National Federation Party (NFP) candidate Feroz Gulam Mohammed joined Unity Fiji and Savenaca Narube, describing him as "the chosen one" to lead Fiji.

Mr Mohammed made the remarks following a meeting with Mr Narube, which he described as productive and focused on issues affecting the country.

"It has been a fruitful discussion covering almost all the sectors that we really need to overhaul and repair in Fiji," Mr Mohammed said.

He said he had agreed to join Unity Fiji and would contest the next general election under the party's banner.

Mr Mohammed also pledged to help educate voters ahead of the election and urged Fijians to choose the right leadership for the country.

"And you are the one. I believe you are the chosen one and will make it," he told Mr Narube.

Mr Narube confirmed the announcement, stating that Mr Mohammed had officially joined Unity Fiji and would stand as one of the party's candidates at the next election.

"I wish to confirm that Feroz has agreed, and I have agreed, that he will be part of Unity Fiji from here onwards. He will stand for Unity Fiji in the next election," Mr Narube said.

Mr Mohammed previously contested a general election as an NFP candidate but has now shifted his support to Unity Fiji as the party prepares for the next national polls.
