Members of the Natokowaqa Topline PRB Youth Network Club marked Ratu Sukuna Day with a mangrove planting initiative at the Taiperia Seashore, demonstrating their commitment to environmental conservation and community development.

The youth-led activity, which saw the participation of children and supportive parents, was praised for its contribution to climate resilience, sustainable development, and national pride.

The Natokowaqa Topline PRB Youth Network Club is a registered group under the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Supported by the Youth and Sports Empowered Network, the club regularly coordinates programs that promote leadership, service, and environmental awareness.

Their initiatives align with Fiji’s national development priorities and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), reflecting a broader commitment to empowering youth as agents of change.

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka commended the group’s efforts, describing them as exemplary. He also encouraged other youth groups across Fiji to follow their lead in making meaningful contributions to their communities.

“Let us all strive to be responsible and proud citizens of our beloved nation,” the Prime Minister said.
