Nausori Plaza Hosts Grand Chinese New Year Celebrations

Hundreds of people gathered at Nausori Plaza last saturday to celebrate the Chinese New Year in a vibrant ceremony officiated by Deputy Prime Minister Prof. Biman Prasad.

The event was also graced by the presence of Minister for Home Affairs, Pio Tikoduadua, Minister for Health, Dr. Ratu Antonio Lalabalavu, and other cabinet ministers.

The celebration featured classical dances performed by students from the China Cultural Center and traditional items by the Manava Dance Group.

Highlights of the event included the unveiling of the 2025 Chinese Zodiac stamps and the Grand Official Opening of the Nausori Plaza, marking a significant milestone for the community.
