The Nausori Town Council has received approval from the Cabinet to implement new fees and charges for market stall rentals at the newly constructed Nakasi Market.

This decision marks a significant step in enhancing local commerce and providing new opportunities for vendors in the area.

The updated fees are part of a broader initiative that includes adjustments made in September of last year for market stalls in Levuka, Rakiraki, and Tavua.

In addition to the market stall fees, revisions have also been approved for Public Service Vehicle (PSV) base fees, user-pay public conveniences, and garbage collection services specifically for Rakiraki and Tavua.

These changes are set to take effect once the relevant By-laws are published, signaling a commitment to improving local governance and services within the Nausori region.

The council encourages all stakeholders to stay informed about the upcoming adjustments and their implications for local businesses and residents.
