New Subsea Cables Enhance Fiji's Digital Connectivity

Fiji's digital infrastructure has been significantly enhanced with the arrival of four Bulikula Subsea Cables today.

Two cables will be installed in Suva and two in Natadola, improving international connectivity by linking Fiji directly to the United States, Australia, Japan, and South America.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade Cooperatives, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, and Communication, Hon. Manoa Kamikamica, along with representatives from the land-owning unit, FNPF, Google team, and other key stakeholders, welcomed the cables in Natadola Province.

"This project reflects the confidence global partners have in Fiji.The ongoing progress demonstrates our commitment to enhancing digital connectivity and economic growth," said Kamikamica.
