Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka today inaugurated Warehouse Tolu at Labasa Divisional Hospital, a new $2.2 million pharmaceutical facility funded by Japan through JICA.

Built in response to COVID-19, the warehouse will serve as the medicine hub for the Northern Division, supplying 65 healthcare facilities across Bua, Macuata, Cakaudrove, and Taveuni.

It will store medicines, vaccines, laboratory reagents, and medical equipment.

PM Rabuka thanked Japan for its continuous support, while Japanese Ambassador Rokuichiro Michi reaffirmed strong bilateral ties and future cooperation in healthcare.
