No Weapons Stolen, Says RFMF After Attempted Camp Breach
FIJI NEWS

The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) has confirmed that no weapons or ammunition were stolen following an attempted security breach at one of its establishments.
In a statement, the RFMF said unknown individuals tried to gain unauthorised access to certain military facilities over the past two weeks. However, the attempts were unsuccessful due to strong security systems already in place.
Following a full inspection and stocktake, the RFMF confirmed that all weapons, ammunition, and related equipment remain accounted for.
The Fiji Police Force is now leading investigations into the incident, with the RFMF providing full cooperation.
The military said it is treating the matter seriously and has begun a review of its existing security measures to further strengthen protection across all its installations.
RFMF Commander reassured the public that there is no threat to public safety, adding that the force remains committed to maintaining high standards of security and vigilance.
