NZ Police Supports Fiji Police Reform and Restructure Review
FIJI NEWS

The Fiji Police Force has acknowledged the support of the New Zealand Police in assisting with its Reform and Restructure review aimed at strengthening human resource capabilities to meet future policing demands.
Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu expressed his appreciation for the assistance provided under the Fiji Police Partnership Programme (FPPP), saying the support aligns with his vision of achieving stability that leads to growth.
The review focuses on the growing demands on policing and is designed to help shape a new submission to meet policing needs over the next five to ten years.
It will also support the Fiji Police Force’s 2025–2026 budget submissions to secure adequate manpower and resources for effective policing.
Commissioner Tudravu highlighted that the Reform and Restructure is a key area of focus in addressing human resource requirements, particularly as new specialised units have been created to tackle emerging crime trends.
The review also aligned with the Fiji National Development Plan 2025–2029.
