Fiji now has ten registered political parties after the Registrar of Political Parties, Ms Ana Mataiciwa, approved the registration of One Nation under the Political Parties (Registration, Conduct, Funding and Disclosures) Act 2013.

The Fijian Elections Office confirmed that One Nation met all legal requirements for registration after resubmitting its application on 21 May 2026. The party's initial application had not been approved, prompting it to submit a fresh application for consideration.

Registrar Ms Mataiciwa said One Nation is now required to comply with all statutory obligations applicable to registered political parties, including the submission of declarations and disclosures within the timelines prescribed under the law.

The registration means Fiji now has a total of ten registered political parties as preparations continue for the country's next General Election.
