Opposition Leader Condemns Attack on Students in Nabua, Suva

The Leader of the Opposition, Hon. Inia Seruiratu, has strongly condemned the recent attack on students in Nabua, Suva.
He said that violence against young people is completely unacceptable and must be dealt with immediately.
"I am deeply troubled by the reports of students being attacked in what should be a safe environment. Our children deserve to feel secure in their communities," Hon. Seruiratu stated.
He welcomed the call from the Commissioner of Police for a swift and thorough investigation into the incident and urged that those responsible be held accountable.
The Opposition Leader also echoed the Commissioner’s advice for parents to talk with their children about the consequences of their actions before it’s too late.
Hon. Seruiratu emphasized that protecting our youth is essential for the future of Fiji.
He called on the government, community leaders, law enforcement, and parents to work together to stop such violence and promote a culture of respect and safety.
