The Pakistan Air Force (PAF) is under scrutiny after posting a promotional video last night that included footage from the popular video game Call of Duty, along with clips from SpaceX launches and foreign military equipment it does not possess, leaving the country's leadership red faced.

The video, shared on PAF’s official Twitter account, claimed to demonstrate Pakistan’s aerial offensive and defensive capabilities.

But it didn’t take long for social media users and open-source investigators to point out that the visuals were far from authentic.

Community Notes on Twitter quickly flagged the post, linking scenes to SpaceX rocket launches, Turkish Akıncı drone promo reels, and Russian S-300/S-400 missile systems — none of which are part of Pakistan’s arsenal.

One particularly embarrassing segment was directly lifted from Call of Duty gameplay footage.

The faux pas came just hours after a high-level press conference in Islamabad where the Pakistani government warned of an imminent attack from India, citing escalating tensions over recent violence in Kashmir.

Tensions between the two nuclear powered nations heightened after an attack on tourists in India controlled Kashmir saw multiple casualties with India blaming Pakistan for backing militants group while Pakistan denied all involvement.

Global leaders — including from the United Nations, the United States, and China — have since urged both countries to exercise restraint and return to diplomatic engagement.
