Passenger Passes Away on Fiji Airways Flight to San Francisco

Fiji Airways has confirmed the tragic passing of a passenger on one of its recent flights from Nadi to San Francisco.

The airline stated that the 59-year-old man collapsed mid-flight, just a few hours before the plane was due to land in San Francisco.

Despite the crew’s immediate response, which included performing CPR and using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), the passenger could not be revived.

The airline expressed deep sympathy to the man’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

In a statement, Fiji Airways also acknowledged the patience and understanding of other passengers during the situation.

They further praised their cabin crew for acting quickly and professionally, ensuring all efforts were made to assist the passenger.
