PM Confirms Death of Agriculture Minister Vatimi Rayalu

Prime Minister Hon. Sitiveni Rabuka has confirmed the passing of Minister for Agriculture and Waterways, Hon. Vatimi Rayalu.

In a statement, Prime Minister Rabuka said he was informed of the sad news by the Minister for Health, Hon. Ratu Atonio Lalabalavu.

He added that Cabinet and Government will honour the wishes of Mr Rayalu’s family and vanua by observing the appropriate protocols and customs.

“Please keep Vasiti and the family in your prayers in this very sad and difficult time,” the Prime Minister said.
