PM Rabuka Opens Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry Office in Labasa

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka has officially opened the new Ministry of Multi-Ethnic Affairs and Sugar Industry office in Labasa on Friday, 21 March 2025.
The new office, located at Macuata House, aims to improve services in the Northern Division, promote inclusivity, and support Fiji’s sugar industry.
PM Rabuka said the government remains committed to assisting disadvantaged groups and recognising the contributions of all ethnic communities to Fiji’s development.
“We are morally obligated to look after the less fortunate. We will continue to do it as long as the Coalition Government is in place,” he said.
The event was attended by farmers, business owners, multi-ethnic groups, and government officials.
