PM Rabuka Reaffirms Vision for Rotuma at Rotuma Day 2025

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka officiated the 2025 Rotuma Day celebrations at the Ahau Government Station, uniting villagers from Rotuma’s seven districts in a vibrant display of culture and unity.

In his address, the PM emphasized Rotuma’s vital role in Fiji’s history and development, noting that despite its size, Rotumans have significantly contributed to national progress. He reaffirmed the Coalition Government’s commitment to improving infrastructure, government services, and economic opportunities on the island.

“We envision a Rotuma where every community thrives,” said Rabuka, highlighting plans to strengthen public-private partnerships to boost the rural economy.

The event featured traditional dances, craft displays, and cultural competitions, celebrating Rotuma’s unique identity and enduring spirit.
