Yesterday morning, Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu paid a courtesy visit to the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources, Paula Cirikiyasawa, to discuss the details of an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions.

The MOU facilitates collaboration between the Fiji Police Force and the Lands Department in operational and compliance matters, particularly in enforcing relevant legislation.

It also covers information sharing, resource allocation, and the use of facilities to enhance the effectiveness of both parties in fulfilling their respective roles.

During the meeting, Commissioner Tudravu was briefed on the status of land where police institutions are located.

The discussions concluded with a mutual commitment to strengthening cooperation in line with the MOU.
