Police Commissioner Visits Operation Sasamaki Team in Naweni

Commissioner of Police Rusiate Tudravu visited the Operation Sasamaki Northern Division team stationed at Naweni Village on Saturday, March 15, emphasizing the need to sustain operational momentum for the sake of Fiji’s future generations.

During his visit, Commissioner Tudravu addressed officers, highlighting the importance of their work in ensuring law and order.

He also took the opportunity to engage with the villagers of Naweni in the presence of the Turaga na Tui Naweni, Ratu Josaia Kabakoro.

Operation Sasamaki is a nationwide initiative targeting drug-related activities, particularly in rural and maritime communities.

The Commissioner’s visit aimed to boost morale among officers and reinforce community support for law enforcement efforts.

Tudravu reiterated the Fiji Police Force’s commitment to tackling illicit activities and ensuring a safer environment for all Fijians.
