Police Investigate Alleged School Rape

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Mr. Kemueli Baledrokadroka states that such incidents reflect the negative consequences students may encounter when they are either unsupervised or influenced by various factors.

Recently, some male students of a secondary school in Cakaudrove are under investigation for allegedly raping a fellow male student at a school dormitory.

Divisional Police Commander (DPC) North, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Kemueli Baledrokadroka, said an investigation had started.

“Our investigators are working on it and it is in its initial stages,” he said.

He opted not to elaborate further on the matter.

SSP Baledrokadroka said such incidents represented the negative implications that students faced when either unsupervised or under the influence of some factors.

Acting Commissioner of Police, Mr. Juki Fong Chew is aware of the alleged incident.

The victim and the alleged students are all aged between 14 to 17 years.
