Police Seek Help to Identify Road Accident Victim

A man who was hit by a bus on Edinburgh Drive last week has passed away at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital today.

Police say the victim, believed to be an iTaukei male between 55 to 60 years old, was hit while crossing the road on January 29.

Since then, officers from Totogo Traffic have been trying to identify him but have not been successful.

To help with identification, police have shared some details about the victim.

He has a tattoo of a cross on his right hand and another tattoo of an animal head on his left hand.

Authorities are asking for the public’s help.
