Police Seek Public Assistance in Locating Stolen Taxi

Police are requesting assistance in locating a bluish Turkish-colored 1.8 hybrid taxi with registration LT 7072, believed to be in Savusavu.

The taxi was stolen on Monday night after being hired from Naodamu Taxi Base in Labasa. Along the journey, the driver was overpowered by three men and later abandoned in Baloca, Dreketi.

The vehicle was later reportedly used in a robbery at Sewak’s Shop in Vatudamu, Savusavu.
