President Receives Delegation from Cakaudrove Provincial Council

Members of the Cakaudrove Provincial Council visited President Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu and First Lady Emily Lalabalavu at State House.
They presented a sevusevu, showing respect and support for the President's role.
President Lalabalavu expressed his gratitude, describing the gesture as a symbolic recognition of a new journey.
He emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration, urging traditional leaders to align their village and Tikina development plans with government initiatives in Vanua Levu.
He highlighted the benefits of ongoing road projects, such as improved access to essential services, markets, education, and health facilities.
The President encouraged leaders to explore how this new infrastructure could benefit various groups within their villages, including women's groups and farmers.
Furthermore, he urged leaders to serve their communities with humility and work closely with them for sustainable development, emphasizing that effective leadership is built on mutual respect, understanding, and a shared vision.
