Prime Minister Rabuka Exclusive Interview with Firstpost India

Fiji’s Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, in an exclusive interview with Firstpost, praised Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi as a “great statesman” and acknowledged India’s expanding influence on the global stage.

Rabuka emphasised the importance of stability in the Indo-Pacific region, remarking that “China doesn’t need to be physically in the Pacific, they can achieve their goals from home.”

Reaffirming Fiji’s close ties with India, Rabuka stressed that there is “no reason to abandon a good relationship with India.”
