Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka today welcomed the newly accredited Non-Resident Ambassador of Denmark to Fiji, Her Excellency Ms Ingrid Dahl-Madsen, during a courtesy call at his office.
PM Rabuka congratulated Ambassador Dahl-Madsen on her appointment and reaffirmed Fiji’s commitment to strengthening ties with Denmark, reflecting on the progress made since Queen Mary’s historic visit in 2023.
Both leaders discussed expanding cooperation in areas such as climate change, trade, agriculture, governance, and human rights, and pledged to deepen their collaboration through joint efforts with the European Union.
As Fiji and Denmark mark 26 years of diplomatic relations, they continue to align on key global priorities, including ocean preservation, disaster relief, and peacekeeping.
