Progress on Vunisei Vacalea Rural Road Upgrade in Kadavu

Work is progressing smoothly on the Vunisei Vacalea rural road in Kadavu.

The team is focused on grading and preparing a solid base for the road, with gravelling already underway to ensure a long-lasting and reliable surface.

This road upgrade will significantly improve the lives of Fijians on Kadavu Island by enhancing access to healthcare, education, and markets for businesses.

It will also facilitate the movement of goods and services, opening up new opportunities for local families.
