Rabuka Optimistic Despite USAID Aid Freeze
FIJI NEWS

Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka is hopeful that a recent 90-day freeze on USAID and State Department-funded aid won't hinder the growth of USAID programs in Fiji.
He emphasized the importance of these programs in areas like climate resilience, health, and digital connectivity.
Rabuka also discussed expanding economic cooperation with the U.S. and highlighted significant investments by Google and Starlink in Fiji’s ICT sector.
He remains optimistic about the future of trade and tourism between the two nations.
