Raivoce Calls for Stronger Customer Focus
FIJI NEWS

SUN Insurance Director Colonel (Ret’d) Sakuisa Raivoce says Fiji’s insurance industry is undergoing rapid change as customer expectations shift and climate-related risks become more pronounced.
Speaking tonight at the SUN Insurance Annual Agents and Branch Seminar Dinner at The Pearl Resort in Pacific Harbour, Raivoce said the sector must keep adapting to remain relevant and trusted.
“The Fijian insurance market is evolving quickly,” he said. “New technologies, changing customer expectations, and the increasing reality of climate challenges demand that we continue to improve, innovate, and focus on the needs of our people.”
Raivoce said SUN Insurance is taking steps to strengthen digital tools, refine products, and build partnerships that support long-term growth and resilience in Fiji.
Under the leadership of Principal Officer Avikash Ram, he said the company is entering a new phase of development.
“This year has been one of transformation and resilience,” Raivoce told agents and branch teams. “We are broadening our horizon, modernising our systems, and positioning ourselves for the future.”
However, he emphasised that the company’s greatest strength remains its people.
“Beyond the numbers and the policies, what truly defines SUN Insurance is our family,” he said. “Our agents and branch teams are the frontliners of this business. You are the bridge between our customers and the promise of security that our brand stands for.”
Raivoce thanked staff for meeting targets, supporting clients, and maintaining strong relationships in their communities.
“You have faced challenges and continued to serve with integrity,” he said. “For that, the Board extends its deepest appreciation.”
Agents and staff from branches across the country attended the dinner, which concluded with a celebration of achievements and commitment to continued service in 2026.
