Ratu Peceli Further Remanded Over Alleged Murder of Leli Darling.

Ratu Peceli Rosotokaicake Rokoravolo has been further remanded in custody in connection with the alleged murder of prominent Nadi-based medical practitioner, Dr Isireli Biumaitotoya, commonly known as Leli Darling.

Rokoravolo appeared before the Nadi Magistrates Court charged with one count of murder. The matter has since been transferred to the Lautoka High Court, where it has been adjourned to September 24 for mention.

Dr Biumaitotoya’s death has sent shockwaves through the community, with tributes continuing to flow for the doctor, who was widely known for his medical service and outspoken presence on social media.
