RBF Promotes Parametric Insurance During Lau Group Tour

The Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) participated in the recent tour of the Lau Group, which was led by the Minister for Rural and Maritime Development and Disaster Management, the Honourable Sakiasi Ditoka.

During the visit, a representative from the Reserve Bank conducted awareness sessions in each of the villages visited by the Minister.

These sessions focused particularly on parametric insurance, shedding light on the importance of having insurance cover as a safety net for those in rural and remote areas after disasters.
