RBF Sets Up Cybersecurity Committee to Strengthen Financial System: DPM Prasad

The Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) has established a cybersecurity committee to bolster protection of the country’s financial system from rising digital threats.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Biman Prasad, confirmed the move, stating it reflects the central bank’s increased focus on tackling cyber risks.

“The Reserve Bank has set up a cybersecurity committee to strengthen protection of our financial system,” said Prasad. “This move reflects their growing focus on tackling digital threats head-on.”
