R.C. Manubhai & Co. Pte Ltd, one of Fiji’s most recognisable home-improvement and hardware brands, has been named among Forbes India’s “Select 200 Companies with Global Business Potential” for 2025, placing the family-owned business on an international stage alongside high-growth brands from across the Asia-Pacific and beyond.
The recognition highlights organisations that demonstrate strong innovation, scalability, international expansion capability, and long-term growth vision. R.C. Manubhai was selected from more than 5,200 companies worldwide, making it one of the very few — and reportedly the only organisation from the South Pacific — to secure a place on this prestigious list.
“This recognition is a proud moment for Fiji and reinforces our long-term commitment to operational excellence, customer experience, ESG leadership, and world-class human capital development,” said Dr. Uppiliappan Gopalan, CEO of R.C. Manubhai Group.
As part of the recognition, senior representatives from R.C. Manubhai will participate in the upcoming DGEMS 2025 Conference at the Taj Palace in New Delhi — an event that brings together CEOs, founders, venture capitalists, regulators, and government delegates from more than 25 countries.
As a Select 200 participant, the company is expected to attend high-level Global Expansion Pavilion meetings, media sessions, international networking roundtables, product showcases, startup sessions, and panels with global industry leaders and unicorn founders.
The event is regarded as a key platform for companies preparing for cross-border growth, investment partnerships, and technology-driven expansion opportunities.
R.C. Manubhai will also receive a custom “Xtrepreneur” memento at the conference — a symbol of global entrepreneurial excellence.
“Our achievement reflects the dedication of our teams and the trust of our customers, suppliers, and communities,” said Dr. Gopalan. “We look forward to strengthening international partnerships and elevating Fiji’s presence on the world stage.”
