Religious Gathering in Nawaka Disrupted by Group of Boys
FIJI NEWS
A religious gathering in Nawaka, Nadi, was disrupted last night when a group of boys entered a private compound and poured water on the attendees.
Police officers on patrol managed to gather the boys together.
One officer, speaking in the iTaukei language, reminded the boys that he had previously warned them against throwing water on the road, noting that a vehicle was damaged the day before and now temple items were also damaged.
He questioned their respect for each other.
