Sai Prema Foundation Offers Free Heart Screenings for Children
FIJI NEWS

The Sai Prema Foundation Fiji is inviting families to take advantage of its free children’s heart screening program this weekend in Suva.
The initiative, which is being run through the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre, will provide complimentary screenings for children aged 0 to 16 years. The screenings will take place on Saturday, 30th August 2025, from 8:30am to 3:00pm at the Centre in Suva.
The Foundation said the program is part of its ongoing mission to ensure that every Fijian child has access to quality healthcare and the chance for a healthy future. “Every child deserves a strong and healthy heart,” the organisation stated in promoting the initiative.
The free heart screenings are designed to detect any potential congenital or acquired heart conditions early, giving parents peace of mind and enabling timely medical care if necessary.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to register their children by contacting the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre on 3312265 or 8372361.
This outreach is the latest in a series of community health initiatives carried out by the Sai Prema Foundation, which continues to provide critical medical services and support for families across Fiji.
