Six Former Fiji Youth Players Return for Senior Handball Competition

Six athletes who represented Fiji at the IHF Youth and Junior Women’s Competition in Noumea, New Caledonia, in 2019 have returned to the national team as seniors.

The players are competing for Fiji at the 2026 IHF Senior Nations Cup, marking a significant step in their international handball careers.

The returning athletes are Anatolia Bolakoro, Keona Saukuru, Leilani Saukuru, Maria Colleen Lovokuro, Sulita Smith and Sulueti Narorolevu.

Their return highlights the progression of Fiji’s women’s handball players from youth competition to the senior international stage.
